Hello Raider Football Fans!
Welcome to another year of Raider Football. Whether you're new to the program or in your last year, there is excitement this year as we get ready to open the 2010 season. Here are a couple of updates:
- The Car Wash starts this weekend, Aug. 7th and 8th. Location is the Antioch Church at the corner of 13 mile and Farmington roads. Freshman work the Carwash from 8:45 am 12:30 on Sat. JV works from 12:30 to 4:00 on Sat. Varsity players will work 11:45 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday. Wear clothes that can get wet!!! If possible, have your son bring an empty gallon milk jug with the top cut off to use for donation gathering.
- Wednesday August 11 @ 11 am is Picture day. Varsity players bring a dress shirt and tie to change into for the picture. More information to be sent home with players.
- Friday August 13 from 6 pm to 8 pm is the Family Tailgate. This is held on the Stadium concourse in front of the concession area. Booster Club provides hot dogs and chips and we ask each family to bring a passing dish. More information will be sent home with the players but please mark this date!
- Saturday September 25, Football Golf Outing at Farmington Hills Golf Club. Golf, dinner and a silent auction! We are looking for participants, volunteers and donations for the Silent Auction i.e. sports tickets, dinner packages, sports memorabilia etc...Please contact Mike Miller for more information @ millerm40@gmail.com
If you haven't paid your Booster Club dues for 2010, please contact our Treasurer Mike Miller @ millerm40@gmail.com and he'll give you instructions on how to pay.
Probably most important, we need YOU!!! We have several open volunteer positions for the upcoming season and need your commitment to fill these spots. Each family must commit to a minimum of 5 hours throughout the year. We have openings in Concessions, Chain Gang, 50/50 drawing, Picnic set up and Taste of Farmington set up on Friday September 24 to name a few. We will have the sign-up sheets posted on the web site soon and will also be available at the Family Tailgate so please sign up.
It's going to be an exciting year for North Farmington Football as we celebrate our 50th year. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

This year we will be adding a new feature. If you want to send in pictures taken at the games, just email them to football@nfhsraiderfootball.com and they will be posted on the page for either Freshman, JV or Varsity. Just send the picture, date of the game, which team and the name of the team they are playing, your name and your son's name and number.
The NFHS Raider Football Booster Club meets after every home game at the Copper Creek Tavern on 12 Mile Road between Halstead and Haggerty. Come on out and celebrate another Raider season with the Boosters!
